Mythic Heart: Exploring the potency of myth through art therapy

  • Nelson, BC Canada (map)

Step into the heart of myth, fairytale and legend and explore the timeless teachings and transformational possibilities of story. Revisiting local and global tales, we will see how they may speak into our lives. Through the use of art and storytelling, we’ll create and share our own mythic stories, imagining new narratives for ourselves and the world. In a supportive group environment where all creative expression is valued, we can work with movement and a wide range of art materials. Members are invited to bring myths and stories that inspire them to delve into any personal symbolism and meaning-making.

The art therapy group will be held weekly, every Monday at 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., running from January 20 – April 6, 2020.

Registration is open and ongoing. Hosted through the Kutenai Art Therapy Institute in Nelson, BC.
