Triple Spiral Framework Practitioner Training

Working with the Land & Your Clients in Reciprocity

a course for educators & wellness professionals to deepen their ability to confidently & safely guide connections between their clients and the natural world

I see you, dear helper, itching to leave your studio and office.

I see you, dear helper, wanting to step away from the confines of walls and telehealth screens.

I see you, dear helper, exploring new ways to support those you work with.

Let’s get you and your clients outdoors.

About the Course

In this 5 week, live online course, we will lift the veil to discover how we, as facilitators, can work in deep, intentional and ethical ways to create meaningful experiences for our clients when working with the natural world.

Weaving innovative ideas, theory, science, activities, and concrete examples, this course is designed for folks trained in counselling, social work, forest therapy, support work, certified coaching, psychotherapy, or outdoor education.

Teaching you the structure you need to cultivate safe, reciprocal and conscientious spaces, and learn practical pointers for how to partner with the natural world, grounded in Indigenous teachings from Turtle Island, Scotland and Ireland. We’ll also tune into the latest in eco-psychology, ecotherapy training, and environmental arts therapy methods.

What You’ll Learn

  1. Core Principles for Intentional Connection & Partnership with the Natural World

We’ll explore core principles that are immensely transformative in cultivating a personal practice of intentionally connecting to and partnering with the land. These will serve as the solid warp of a weave that gives us the structure to hold us in place as we work with the natural world.

  2. Conscious Creation of the Safe Container for Your Clients

The Triple Spiral Framework designed by Sarah West teaches us how a facilitator can develop the “safe frame” or “container” to hold meaningful experiences with the natural world. This creates a foundation of depth and safety prior to and while facilitating a session with the land and our clients.

This training is for you if:

Praise About the Course

“Sarah is a wise, generous facilitator who emulates beautifully the principles and practices of Reciprocity Coaching. This Environmental Arts Therapy training has not only helped deepen my own relationship with the land but also given me the tools & confidence to share this approach with my clients. I highly recommend Sarah and her Triple Spiral Framework practitioner training.”

“Awesome to have a short course with so much information packed in, which has been amazing. It feels like the perfect amount of time. It’s very intentionally planned, and flows between each session. You’re able to pack in so much rich information and be concise. Your presence has been so gentle, guiding.”

“My experience in the training really supported me in creating a stronger container for the work I’ve already been doing as a therapist… Sarah and the framework she’s created has helped to provide and support me in developing more of my own roots, and a framework for the work I’ve been doing, deepening my intentions for this work.”

You trust in our instincts and our guides, making us proactive in what we’ve learned, not just passive consumers of this knowledge. Thank you for this.”

“Working with people in an environmental arts therapy and land based healing modality is a very potent and exciting way to support people to deepen their relationship with nature in a meaningful and authentic way, and is needed now more than ever. The Triple Spiral Framework is a practical and beautiful tool for therapists to use to feel confident and safe guiding clients out of the studio and into nature for creative, therapeutic and healing work to be done.”
