Ecological Grief & Anxiety Workshop: Resiliency and Active Hope in an Era of Climate Change

Ever look at what’s happening with our climate and just want to hide? Fight? Cry? Scream? Sleep? Help? If so, you’re likely no stranger to experiencing ecological grief. In this workshop, we'll look at the theory behind ecological grief, what it is, and how to cultivate resiliency and hope through creative and earth-based practices in response to uncertain times.

The very world that we depend on for life is stressed beyond anything we’ve seen before, and it makes sense that we inevitably respond in-kind, whether consciously or unconsciously. The cycles of our earth as we know it are changing, and it’s impacting every one of us.

Through exploring and learning creative, land based, and mindful embodiment practices, this supportive 1.5 hr online workshop will creatively and theoretically explore eco grief and our place in its cycles.

We’ll come together to:

  • Understand ecological grief theoretically and how it can show up in our lives

  • Learn a practice to express grief in a creative, land based way

  • Identify practical ways to strengthen resiliency and find hope
