Workplace Resiliency & Innovative Decision Making: Partnering with the Natural World

  • Innisfree Farm & Botanic Garden 3636 Trent Road Courtenay, BC, V9N 9R4 Canada (map)

Do you feel like decision-making in your workplace is complex and layered with divergent interests? Do you at times encounter stalemates and stagnation?

Ever stepped outside for a walk and felt how all that stress and business falls away? Or found your flow and had that moment of inspiration and clarity? What if you could foster and maintain these “aha!” moments and apply them in your life and at work? In this workshop, you will feel supported to generate and maintain that connection, and apply it in your life and at work to improve workplace culture, innovate decision making and encourage sustainability.

This professional development course will combine theory and an experiential component, where we work in the great outdoors, in a beautiful setting amongst the incredible botanical gardens of Innisfree Farm. We’ll explore why connecting with nature and creativity works in professional environments, and offer practical, straightforward approaches for how to gain insight and answers at work.

To see examples and learn more about the benefits and process of using a creative, land-based approach in the workplace, check out this page.

This 5 week course is for professionals looking to enhance their leadership skills, and those who are curious about how fostering collaborative and creative relationships between people and the land can transform how we approach issues impacting us in the workplace.
